Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Escrod mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. About Escrod

Escrod is a task marketplace that connects people who need tasks done ("Masters") with people who can do them ("Doers"). Escrod acts solely as a platform and is not a party to any agreement between Masters and Doers.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must verify your email address before accessing the full features of the App.

4. Posting and Applying for Tasks

For Masters:

• You are responsible for providing accurate task descriptions, budgets, and deadlines.
• You must pay the agreed amount upon satisfactory completion of a task.
• You may accept or decline doer applications at your discretion.

For Doers:

• You must only apply for tasks you are capable of completing.
• Once accepted, you are expected to complete the task to the agreed standard.
• You must provide valid payment details (e.g., mobile money) for receiving payments.

5. Payments

• Payments are processed through our integrated payment provider (Paystack).
• Escrod may charge a service commission on completed transactions.
• Payment is initiated when both the Master and Doer confirm task completion.
• Escrod is not responsible for payment disputes between Masters and Doers beyond the platform's built-in resolution process.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Post misleading, fraudulent, or offensive content.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform's payment system.
• Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave reviews after task completion. Reviews must be honest and fair. Escrod reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

Escrod provides the platform "as is" and makes no guarantees regarding the quality of work performed by Doers or the reliability of Masters. Escrod shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

9. Termination

Escrod reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
